Dream-pop (London, ON)
Ontario-based dream pop band Glass Face formed just over a year ago around the talents of Amelia Fraser, Cole Sefton, Dylan King, and Rowan Grice, and have already begun to create a sizeable buzz. With their debut single ‘Holland’ receiving a high profile placement on MTV’s Teen Wolf, the band found themselves as one of the most Shazamed artists of the week, as new fans tried to find the source of a sound they’d never heard before. Later on in their first year together, their cover of ‘Hotline Bling’ became the 5th most viral track on Spotify, creating a small pattern of success for the band. Their first EP ‘You Are Nowhere’, is an amalgamation – a cage match between folk, post-rock, and electronica. It’s twenty minutes of discovery; an exploration into the sound of four young Canadians who all bring distinct influence to a project which they foster with an evolving sense of direction.
